MARINA DI LOANO is a modern tourist port, easily accessible and welcoming yachtsmen in a mild climate all year round. Located just 40 miles from the French border, MARINA DI LOANO was built as a large yacht harbour on the Italian Riviera and lies at the heart of West Liguria, a stone’s throw from the historical town centre and one hour away from Genoa and Nice airports. Its expansion was completed in early 2011 and was awarded the Blue Flag “Bandiera Blu” label in 2016.

The marina has a water draft of between 3.50 and 5 meters (11-16 feet), and offers 855 permanent and year-round berths, 79 transit berths, as well moorings reserved for Loano residents, Coastguard vessels and professional fishing boats, for a total of 1000 berths. It hosts boats from 6 (19 ft) to 77 m (252 ft) Superyachts in a well protected harbour by an imposing breakwater, safe even in the most adverse weather conditions.

Services offered at MARINA DI LOANO include a shipyard that can service yachts up to 50 m in length. Hauling out and launching slipways for trailer units are also available as well as a fuel station, a rare sight on the Ligurian Riviera.

Form the central location of the MARINA DI LOANO Yacht Club (YCML), you are struck by the size of the engineering involved in the many other amenities of the port including a helipad and the Marina Beach, extending on 16.000 m2 and divided into 4 areas: Relax, family, sports and dog beach.
